New Classes

Aloha Community Members SPECIAL: $10/class. Tuesday or Thursday. No registration. Just show up with $10 in hand. Go back to basics to learn what you never learned or have forgotten about yoga.

                   

Aloha is having two Beginner Yoga classes this spring. They are each for 6 weeks at $99. It is a great investment for your health. Want a morning class? Beginning Tuesday April 14 from 8AM to 9, learn the basics of a yoga practice. Prefer an evening class? Beginning the same week April 16 from 7PM to 8, begin to gently emerge into a weekly practice. The series will build confidence, strength, and connection to your body and breath. Minimum of 4 people to run the classes. Yoga for Osteoporosis


Beginning in May: The Living Altar with Genevieve


Where yoga becomes ritual. We enter the living temple together and tend the altar of the body through breathwork, asana, and guided meditation. Classes are designed to flow with the energy of the Great Mother, the seasons, and the moon cycle. Limited to 12. This will replace Friday Slow Flow, 9:30-10:45.


Liz returns to Aloha for the Summer

Starting May 10, Revive and Relax is a beginner sequence of tiered asanas and breathing exercises. Designed to challenge every body, this practice promotes strength, flexibility and balance and can reduce stress, improve focus and enhance mindfulness.  This is a comprehensive 60-minute asana practice followed by guided, deep relaxation with hands-on assist. 


Outdoor Yoga Returns!

Outdoor Yoga at Surry Mountain Lake offers a warm and inclusive environment for practitioners of all skill levels to come together and enjoy a rejuvenating yoga class. Whether you prefer to use your package or make a cash contribution to the donation basket, everyone is welcome. Please join Josephine in this serene outdoor setting.


Friendly Announcement, there are two ways to know if a class is canceled:

  • If you are registered you will get a notification email or text message
  • Check vagaro before you leave to come to class. If the class is not a go, it will be taken off vagaro.
