Aloha Keene is hosting a Day of Bliss
On January 25, Aloha has a full day for your pleasure. It is far enough after the Holiday season that folks are longing for a great event. Aloha is a Yoga Studio, however there are many other practices besides postures that encompass a yogic lifestyle. The day will focus on breathing and creativity in the moment. The day has only one “yoga class”. It is taught by Bryan Russell. For those who have been waiting for Bryan to teach in the area again, this is a great day to practice with him.
The day begins at 9 with a cacao ceremony, to set the body/mind into a subtle blissful state. Chocolate does it every time. The morning follows with two workshops. Choosing from Bliss Yoga, Breathe Here Now, Exploring the Vibration of Wholeness through Music, and Dance Your Heart Out. A healthy, delicious vegan lunch is included. Live music will accompany lunch for ambiance. The afternoon will be full of more creativity. The Divine Play of Shakti through Art and Yoga Nidra: Your Birthright to Bliss are offered. Aloha has an outstanding mural in their seaglass room. The artist, Satya Moses, will be there to tell stories from the mural. Chai will be available. Throughout this Day of Bliss, Reiki, Tuning Forks, and Card Readings will be offered. For your shopping pleasure Ceremonial Cacao will be available for purchase. Yvette’s Chanting Book will be available for purchase. And Angie’s Sacred Paper Art will be available for purchase.
The culmination of the day, will be to gather together to chant the divine names of God. Yvette Om from the Philly area will lead with Angie and Josh from the Upper Valley accompanying along with Keene’s own Landis brothers. 9 presenters plus 5 kirtan wallers. This will be amazing and right here on Court St in the old Red Cross building!!!! The Red Cross is thrilled that this historic building continues to serve our community for greater health for our people.
